  • How to Conduct an Antivirus 360 Removal Procedure – Remove Antivirus 360

Oh Gosh the dreaded Antivirus 360 (also known as 360 Antivirus).

Getting infected with that virus can be a pain in the neck. Memo to those who may still be unaware – Antivirus 360 is not a real antivirus program. It is referred to in the internet security world as “rogue spyware”. If infected you should remove Antivirus 360 as soon as you can.

This rogue usually does not install without user approval, however unknowing that approval may have been. If you closed the Antivirus 360 window or pop-up any way other than by closing IE via Task Manager, you approved the install. (Tricky little b*stard, huh?)

Facebook users Beware. This one is just the beginning.

If you haven’t already realized this, Antivirus 360 is the latest version of the infamous rogue spyware antivirus 2008 and 2009, instead this time it has just taken a new name so it can further disguise itself. The name sounds very similar to well respected security tool.

    What is Antivirus 360

Antivirus 360 or AV360 is one of the most dangerous viruses on the internet.  It has been infecting computers across world at a breakneck pace.  Passwords, credit cards, bank account, and other sensitive information are at risk!

    How does the virus work?

First it sneaks onto your computer as a trojan. You may have downloaded a malicious program or visited a dangerous website. Often times you have no idea what happened.

But then the pop ups start appearing. Warning spyware detected on your computer! System alert! Your Computer is Infected! And so on and so forth.

All of the pop ups provide links to download a program called Antivirus 360. When you click the link and install the software it runs a fake scan while a big red box reads – “your system is in danger”.

Do not fall for the trap. You need to remove Antivirus 360 not install it. The program removes nothing while it will simply infect your computer worse. It will also use spyware to steal private information like passwords, credit card numbers, and other financial data.

    Antivirus 360 Removal
You will have to use the windows registry (only recommended for advanced computer users) and locate all the files individually to get rid of it, and if you delete something valuable it cannot be reversed, so you run the risk of destroying your entire operating system. Plus manually removing the virus isn’t going to prevent or keep your computer protected from future virus threats.

    Warning
Removing registry entries can be very dangerous when done manually.  You can accidentally cause windows errors, blue screens, even the collapse of your hard drive.
    Procede with caution!

If infected you need to conduct an Antivirus removal procedure immediately. Unfortunately because this virus is so sneaky and dangerous it can be VERY difficult to remove manually. It spreads a bunch of hidden malicious files all over your computer and attempting to track them all down on your own can be complicated.

Fortunately there is an Antivirus 360 removal tool you can download to do the job for you. Simply scan your computer and remove all malicious files. You can remove Antivirus 360 and be virus free in minutes. Get a free scan here.
